Photos one of the most important Moroccan cement projects in Equatorial Guinea and Africa 🇲🇦🇲🇦 The AKOGA cement plant project in Equatorial Guinea is one of the most important projects that have been won by Moroccan companies in the past 10 years. The project was won by Delattre Levivier Maroc in 2014, where the company was tasked with building and installing the plant for its local customer SOMAGEC GE and it took nearly 4 years to construct. The plant’s capacity will reach 1 million tons per year and is capable of being increased. The plant will supply the local market for Equatorial Guinea and ECOWAS (Cameroon, Central Africa, Capone, Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Chad). To make this project a success, the Moroccan group, months before it won the deal, acquired (51%) GeCO, which operates in more than 40 projects in the region. DLM was founded in 1951 in Casablanca by Frenchman Ondre Lofé, She built a group of cement factories in Meknes, Boscora and Marrakech. It also has a Petit Melil plant that manufactures wind-powered poles and a yellow shelf maintenance plant. In 2009, it opened a branch in Senegal and then in Equatorial Guinea in 2015. The company employs 1,800 people across its various workshops in Morocco and Africa and in 2017 its turnover was AED 596.3 million. #7Snaye3 #DLM #Ciment #Maroc #Afrique
