Today I made my maintenance Engineer , create a report for all the new Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to show them how to Maintain Damaged bucket elevator without the Need to Replace it. to save the cost of buying New Equipment.
our problem : the Bucket elevator Frequent stoppage.
After checking bucket elevator gear box internal parts
- High speed shaft bearings damage
- High speed shaft gear broken one teeth
- High speed shaft bearing housing worn
- Low speed shaft bearing must be changed
- Cooling impeller of elec, motor damaged
Recommendation
- Replace high speed shaft bearings & repair housing (Done)
- Replace oil seal kit (Done)
- Prepare high speed stage gears
- Replace low speed shaft bearings
- Replace cooling impeller of elec, motor
